Most of your calendar data is stored by Android or your cloud service – not inside aCalendar. There are two exceptions you should know about.

Local tasks

Tasks stored locally in aCalendar are saved inside the app – not in Android’s calendar storage. If you uninstall aCalendar, all local tasks will be permanently deleted. Make sure to export them regularly as a backup.

Local attachments

File attachments added locally to events are also stored inside the app. Uninstalling aCalendar will permanently delete these attachments as well. Back them up before uninstalling.

Before uninstalling aCalendar, always export your local tasks and check whether you have any local attachments you want to keep.
