aCalendar features intuitive, interactive date and time pickers to help you quickly set appointment times. Instead of typing numbers manually, you can use the built-in mini calendar and clock wheel interface.

Setting the Date with the Mini Calendar

When creating or editing an event, tap the start or end date field to open the date picker widget:

Select a Day

Tap directly on any day in the monthly calendar grid to select your desired date.

Navigate Months & Years

Swipe up or down to scroll between months. You can also tap the month/year header at the top to quickly jump to a specific year.

Setting the Time with the Analog Clock

Tapping on the time field opens a graphical clock wheel widget for precise time selection:

Set Hours

Drag the clock hand or tap on the ring to select the hour. In 24-hour mode, inner and outer circles represent daytime and nighttime hours.

Set Minutes

Once the hour is selected, the clock wheel automatically switches to minute selection. Drag the hand to select the exact minute.

Tip: You can set default appointment durations and notification alarms in aCalendar Menu → Settings → Event defaults and editor.
